Just listenig to James' iTunes, and the proclaimers come on (I would walk one), and I laughingly mentioned that it was  a song of importance.
Oh yes, before Lou and Andy I remember dancing (if I'm honest jumping about frantically) all the way through it like a posessed imp. It was a shool battle of the bands, my mate were playing, the dodgy now street cred teachers were paying and I was being asked if I was on drugs.
I remember being probably quite dehydrated (pop was expensive) and exhausted which combined led to hyperactivity on a level never witnessed before or since!

Next song - think twice by Celine Dion ... Stuck on the M40 on the way to Cuckfield, barely a month into a relationship singing our hearts out while the other drivers sat about looking bored and confused. Later that day we broke down, I think she just carried me through while I stood behind th barrier on the M25 ... scary times!
